I have several years of work experience in Chinese massage techniques and training at the local massage school in Lancaster, successfully completing all requirements by the school. Combining Eastern and Western techniques, we focus on providing deep tissue and therapeutic massage. I specialize in the use of acupressure and Tuina techniques to achieve the purpose of healing, relief, and complete relaxation.
Acupressure is the application of finger pressure and touch on specified points to promote balance of universal energy. When pressure is properly applied to these points, circulation is improved, and nerves are stimulated, improving body metabolism and relieving several physical disorders.
Tuina is the name of modern Chinese massage, focusing on specific areas of the body. The eight basic techniques utilized in Tuina are palpating, rejoining, opposing, kneading, pressing, lifting, holding, and pushing.
